We are Jaz & Theo! We a wedding photography team in El Paso, here to serve our couples and photographers. We enjoy traveling, making friends, wearing cute outfits (including hats), and snuggling together often.
As we got Marco ready to see his love Tia for the first time we noticed him let out a little sigh of relief. Tia came around the corner and almost floated towards him in her amazing wedding gown. She gently tapped his shoulder and Marco started to turn around. We felt the emotion when Tia started shedding a few tears. Seeing the bride’s raw emotion on the wedding day is so powerful! Marco was also emotional and just so happy to see Tia and wrap her up in hugs. This is always our favorite part of the wedding day, the first look!
Tia and Marco got married in the Gila Valley Temple and luckily some of the trees were still in bloom! The heat had been really intense that whole week with multiple days over 100 degrees! So, of course, we had to get these amazing blooms in the photos! Tia is from the Thatcher area (Gila Valley) and Marco is from Nogales. Marco met Tia when he came to Eastern Arizona College. When we were taking photos of the reception we noticed a sign that said when they met and all the important parts of their relationship. Well, we smiled when we saw that they had their first kiss just a few days before Maro’s sister’s wedding that we did! How sweet!
Not that this was on their sign but we think that their engagement session was amazing and we love it when couples opt to do one. Their sweet spring engagement within an hour of where they got married! You can check it out here. Their reception turned out amazing and we loved every little detail! It was sad it had to be moved inside due to it being too hot but it was still gorgeous! The prettiest naked cake was done by The Cake Hive and great catering by El Charro.
Marco’s dad was the officiant for their ring ceremony and we enjoyed watching Marco’s smile get even bigger throughout the ceremony! When Tia’s dad danced with her for the daddy-daughter dance we all got quiet when a few tears came from both of them. Weddings are about the bride and groom but also all the special bonds between the family members and celebrating the bride and groom making a brand new family. What could be more special than that! Tia and Marco, you too were so sweet on your wedding day and we love to see such joyful people on their wedding day! We hope you two remember this day and can look back at these photos and see how happy you two were.
