We are Jaz & Theo! We a wedding photography team in El Paso, here to serve our couples and photographers. We enjoy traveling, making friends, wearing cute outfits (including hats), and snuggling together often.
This is not a subject that we like talking about but if we don’t then you guys will never know how much we love our toilet paper! Since we have gone waste free the first thing that came up as a problem in our lives was toilet paper that didn’t come in plastic. Jaz researched online and saw that some waste free bloggers used hotel toilet paper that came wrapped in paper. But we had no idea how to find that stuff and didn’t care for the quality. We finally came across a blog post about this company that was setting out to make better toilet paper for the environment and gives back.
This is the company that we use for our toilet paper! As you can tell by the name of the company they like to have a good time and enjoy them selfs. We quickly bought their biggest box and it showed up in a few days. And true to their word all that came was a cardboard box, paper wrapped toilet paper, and inside toilet paper without scents or dyes. There was no plastic!
Their colorful paper wraps are fun to look at and we enjoy using them. They have been coming out with different patterns and even ones where you can color the drawing in. They obviously love what they do. Passion is so lacking in other businesses these days. Their toilet paper can come 100% recycled or 100% bamboo. They even have paper towels for those who still want to use paper towels and then compost them.
Their passion for toilet paper that is “Good for your bum and for the world” is truly a great idea! They are not only setting out to make their product better for us and better for the environment. They also donate 50% of what they earn towards helping those in need. They say that “more people in the world have mobile phone than toilets.” Now you may be thinking that isn’t such a bad thing. But then when you hear that “We think toilets are pretty funny, but we started Who Gives A Crap when we learned that 2.3 billion people (roughly 40% of the world’s population) don’t have access to a toilet. Unfortunately, that’s not very funny. Around 289,000 children under five die every year from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. That’s almost 800 children per day, or one child every two minutes. Luckily, toilets are proven to be a great solution—they provide dignity, health and an improved quality of life. And in case that wasn’t enough, it’s been shown that a dollar invested in sanitation yields $5.50 in increased economic prosperity. Toilets are magical!”
Just take in that above sentence! So please even if you don’t want toilet paper that doesn’t come wrapped in plastic think about helping others and this good company!
