We are Jaz & Theo! We a wedding photography team in El Paso, here to serve our couples and photographers. We enjoy traveling, making friends, wearing cute outfits (including hats), and snuggling together often.
We loved getting to meet up with Ivy and Mario at the Papago Park for a sweet desert anniversary session. We love making friends but we never thought that the photography world would give us so many more amazing friends. It has only been since May when we met Ivy at a photography course. The craziest thing is that we didn’t know how connected we were until a few months later when Ivy and Mario went to Ecuador. Jaz showed Theo about their trip because Theo had spent almost three months down there with families in our church. We came to find out that Mario’s family is friends with the family Theo stayed with. Not only that, but Mario went to EAC and also knows lots of our friends! (Another fun thing is that Ivy also did clerical work in Germany for almost two years and Theo is trying to learn German, so it was fun for him to get to practice.) It’s crazy how connected we all are!
Even though we live in the desert it was still really cold and we weren’t thinking because we only brought one coat. Mostly it was cold because we weren’t prepared for it like typical desert people. Well, Theo was the smart one and brought his coat. Jaz and Ivy ended up stealing it and passing it back and forth. After the session we went to a Peruvian restaurant and tried things we had never had. Of course Mario and Ivy might have been exposed to it more! We really enjoyed the Peruvian doughnuts, and we would never have guessed that they were made out of butternut squash and sweet potatoes!! They were good, but we will see if we can ever make them. Now if we can only match up vacations so we can go on a trip together that would be perfect! Always looking for travel buddies.
